Possibly the most ancient of symbols, the moon has shaped how we track and understand time, it rises every day bringing in the night, it controls the tides and is believed to affect our energetic fields. The pieces are from several different bright and fun modern tins.  Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth and then assembled. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.

The finished earrings are approximately 1.5" (36mm) wide and hang about 3.25" (76mm) from the ear.

Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear.
